Welcome to the Esports Society, the place to be for all things Esports! No matter your background, gender or degree, if you are a gamer you will fit right in here! In these tough times, we know it can be difficult. This society encourages social distancing, while still allowing the members to bond with other students. We hope that it will provide a sense of normality for the members and also a chance to connect, socialise and have fun with other like-minded people! The Esports & Gaming Society is also looking to recruit City players of all games and abilities to join in the action! We welcome players of all levels, whether you want to play socially or to compete, we encourage you to join in! University Esports teams of all levels regularly compete in tournaments, and we wish to put City on the map! We plan to run inhouses, a moderated discord server, dedicated social media accounts, tryouts for more serious gamers to represent City in bigger tournaments, mentoring / coaching sessions, and more! We play games including, but not limited to: League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Valorant, Among Us. If you don't see your favourite game here, don't worry, we welcome everybody and can work to add more as we grow!
