This society's primary objective is to impart comprehensive education in Genetic Engineering, with a special emphasis on CRISPR Technology.
CRISPR, short for Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats, is a revolutionary genetic technology that allows scientists to precisely edit DNA. It works by using a molecule called RNA to target a specific gene, and an enzyme, such as Cas9, to cut or modify that gene. This precise gene editing capability has profound implications in fields ranging from medicine to agriculture, enabling researchers to potentially treat genetic diseases, create genetically modified organisms, and unlock new frontiers in genetic research. CRISPR technology has significantly accelerated genetic engineering and has the potential to reshape the way we understand and manipulate genes.
