No-Detriment Policy

Introduced a no-detriment policy with the university to ensure students’ grades were not negatively affected by the pandemic

Student Check-in

We launched a new project titled 'Student Check-in', designed to 'check-in' on new and returning students to ask how they are doing and refer those that need it to further support. Almost 5000 conversations were had with students by our student check-in callers across September 2020 and February 2021.

Change of Name

City Students' Union recognised the call to action from staff, students and the wider public and actively lobbied City, University of London to change the name of City’s Cass Business School.

Free menstrual products in the female bathroom

    Passed
I have been approached multiple times by people on campus asking for menstrual products. With approximately 50% of the university being female and having their period, having accessible pads in university would make a significant difference

10:09am on 3 Mar 22 I agree - it’s a basic provision that the university should be providing to us
    Lyba Zahid
10:22pm on 3 Mar 22 I agree - would be helpful in an otherwise possibly compromising/embarassing situation.
