Student Council - Final SC 2020/21
City students are invited to join Student Council taking place via Zoom on the 23rd of March (Tuesday) at 4pm. Have your say on compulsory membership fees for Student Groups, the Slates ruling as part of our elections process, adopting a stance on free education and tuition fees reimbursement and so much more!
Ideas to be discussed at the meeting:
Value for Money:
- Students United Against Tuition Fees (SUAF)
- Language courses taught in the context of Business for all City Undergraduates
- Discount all language short courses for City students and alumni
Academic:
- Exam Scheduling (additional week after the end of exams and before the beginning of the term)
- Re-format City Law School Events & Opportunities Moodle Page
- Hard Copies of Law Books for the Law School
Students’ Union:
- Remove compulsory membership fees for Student Groups
- Make elections more student friendly (remove Slates ruling)
- Change the CASS SRO title to Business SRO
- Solidarity with the Uyghur People – Stop the Genocide
Student Experience:
- Adequate Opportunities for Students starting in the January intake
- Instalment of bidet (sanitation) showers in toilets (in review)
- The Wall of Fame
