Stand for your society committee
All society committee members are elected by their society members each year. If you're a society member and would like to run your society next year, here's what you need to know about society elections.
You must be a standard fully paid society member and enrolled on a City University course next academic year to nominate yourself for a committee position. It is a good idea to upload a manifesto to tell your society members why they should vote for you and what plans you have for the society next year. You have a limited time to nominate yourself for a committee position, please see nomination period below.
Here are some key dates of your society elections and information about the different roles in a society committee.
Society By-Elections Period
For your society to continue next year all three committee positions must be filled (President, Communications Officer, Finance Officer).
Nominations: 1st October - 12th October
Voting: 15th October - 26th October
