Women in Media Society

Welcome to City, University of London’s first-ever Women in Media society! We are a non-profit organisation with the aim to build a community, which empowers and celebrates women in media.

We want to encourage dialogue about the obstacles and challenges facing women working in the media, to discuss change and above all to empower young women seeking to find a career in the media.

Our Society will organise networking evenings, keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops, which will give our members the opportunity to speak to and learn from other successful women.

If you want to be involved or find out more information drop us an email at womeninmediacity@gmail.com or follow our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages!

Get your tickets to the London Women In Media Panel and Networking Evening now! For just £5, you get a panel discussion with five high profile women in media, a glass of wine, nibbles, a goodie bag, and any profits will go directly to The Second Source - an organisation created by a group of women journalists to tackle harassment in the media.

We don't have anything planned right now but check back soon!
