Referendum Announcement

This is notice from the Deputy Returning Officer that City Students' Union shall be holding a referendum vote online from Monday 22 - Thursday 25 March 2021.


City Students' Union Board of Trustees have called a referendum on whether the University should reject the IHRA definition of antisemitism. This is the second Students' Union referendum in two years.

REFERENDUM QUESTION: ‘Should the University reject the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism?’

Voting will take place online from Monday 22 March, 9:00am - Thursday 25 March, 4:00pm (UK time).

A referendum debate will be avalible to watch on Thursday 18 March.
