London University Bouldering Event

The climbing team will be competing in the London University Bouldering Event (LUBE), some of us will be competing for the first time ever, we could do with the support!

LUBE is a national competition open to any university team wishing to compete. It is a student run, non-profit, national bouldering competition.


How does a bouldering competition work?

25 problems are set out and climbers are given three hours to complete as many routes as they can. With points awarded baesed on the number of attempts needed to complete.

Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women at each round and the overall top three men, women and university teams at the final round.


LUBE takes place over 4 rounds at prominent venues across London.

Round 1: 

19th October 2019 @ CROYWALL

Round 2: 

23rd November 2019 @ STRONGHOLD

Round 3: 

1st February 2020 @ YONDER

Round 4: 

4th March 2020 @ HARROWALL
