What is Student Council?
Student Council is the highest representational body of the Union. The role of Council is to set the Student Policy of the Union, hold your
Executive Committee to account and provide political oversight.
When does it happen?
Meetings take place once in the first term and twice in the second term. If you are curious about what happened in previous meetings (2018-19 and 2019-20), consult the agenda and minutes here.
Who takes part in Student Council?
Student Council is made up of three Councillors who are elected in October from each of the five Schools here at City.
All City students can attend, submit motions and participate in debate at Student Council, but only members of Student Council can vote to make changes.
