We know that money can be a worry for many students, and that’s why the Students’ Union is launching a Money Advice service for the very first time.

Just like our Academic Advice service, this service is free, confidential, independent and non-judgemental. We are here to empower you to make your own decisions.

How can you help me?

  • We run an interest free short-term loan of up to £200 to support students with short-term cash flow issues

  • We can sit down with you and talk through your personal situation and worries about money you might have

  • We can help you draw up a budget, and help you keep track of this over time

  • We can explore your budget and discuss where you may be overspending, and any strategies to help manage your money

  • We will refer or signpost you to specialist services for support on any issues related to student finance, hardship funding, debt, benefits, insolvency or taxes

How can I access the service?

You can book a money guidance appointment with an Advisor by following this link and completing our Case Form. You must complete a Case Form to access the service.
