Priorities
I'm Sudenaz Top, a Turkish second-year LLB student. Previously, I served as Hackney's Young Mayor, gaining valuable leadership experience. Now, I work in Hackney Council's Policy & Strategic Delivery team, focusing on youth issues. With a strong background in advocacy and leadership, I'm dedicated to serving as your City Law School Assembly Member.
Careers and Employability
If elected, I'll enhance employability support for law students at City Law School. While the school offers valuable resources, we can do better. Many students remain undecided about their legal path, limiting opportunities. Those who've decided need more assistance securing schemes and pupillages.
Education and Academic Priorities
If elected, I will ensure accountability for subpar teaching. Upholding academic standards is crucial. We must hold lecturers accountable when teaching falls short. Every student deserves quality education and I'm committed to upholding this standard.
Fees & Funding
If elected, I will prioritise increased legal scholarships and student awareness. I'll expand scholarship options and improve communication to keep students informed. Education should be accessible to all, and scholarships play a crucial role.
