As the current Deputy President of the SU here at City, I know many concerns students are facing through interactions with them, attending meetings and using the getheard@city feedback platform. We are currently facing loads of issues from the cost of living crisis to increased interest rates and rent prices. If I am elected to attend the NUS Conference I will make sure these concerns are being addressed and the views of city students are heard on the bigger stage. I never give up and I am full of ambition and determination. The lunar new year festival is a good example of that. I was faced with an issue of having low funds but through tenacity and resilience I managed to make the event successful first time with some small donations.
