Although this is my first year at City, I am well versed in the inner workings of Student Unions across the country from my time reporting on the ins and outs of student politics at Nottingham and beyond. Having seen the influence the NUS has on students' lives (sometimes in ways we might not even notice), I want to drive change from within rather than just telling everybody what happened afterwards! 

Whilst of course I will be a voice for all City students at the conference, I hope specifically to champion the interests of postgraduate students. Additionally, as a healthcare student with one eye on the UK general election on the horizon, I will be campaigning for the NUS to throw their support behind policies that will protect our interests not just as students, but as professionals.
