Programme Rep of the Month
We want to know exactly what our Programme Reps have achieved in their roles - this can be exciting ways you've collected feedback, inventive, creative and other things you've carried out for your Programme which can inspire other Programme Reps.
We are currently accepting submissions for January's Programme Rep of the Month through here. Deadline is Monday 29th January.
Wei Qiang Lim, BSc Actuarial Science, Cass Business School.
Wei had been working to collect student opinions on how the Actuarial Science course could be structured to help students develop skills to make them more employable (including those students on placement). Following on from the feedback collected, he has been working with the Associate Dean of the School to feedback student opinions and implement potential changes.
Sharmin Chowdhury, BSc Optometry, School of Health Sciences.
Sharmin had been offering students a variety of ways to provide feedback, including through anonymous channels and encouragement for those who may not feel confident in front of a big group to voice their opinions. She had been active in her Programme Management Committees in voicing her cohort’s feedback and fed proposed changes back to her cohort after the meeting.
She is also conducting a survey on whether the School of Health Sciences would like the option to purchase School specific hoodies from the Students’ Union shop, amongst other exciting ventures including a RAG charity fundraising Project.
