Nominations are still open for the Programme Rep Elections!

Stand to be a Programme Rep this year to make a difference to the academic experience for you and those on your course.

What is a Programme Rep?

Programme Reps are one of the ways that your Students' Union represents your academic interests. Reps carry the voice for their cohort on the issues that matter and work with the SU and the university to make impactful change.

Students can turn to their Rep to raise any issues on their course. This can be academic or non-academic related. Reps play a key role in making the University experience better for students, so they get the most out of their course!

What does a Programme Rep do?

Reps collect feedback from their cohort on both academic and non-academic issues, to understand the key experiences of the course. They then take this feedback to staff and meetings at course, department, or school-level and work with them to find solutions to the issues.

How do I become a Rep?

Anyone can become a Programme Rep here at City.

If you want to stand to be a Rep, speak to your course leader or programme director and put yourself forward – there’s still time! Deadline is 3pm on Wednesday 18th.

After you’ve been appointed, you’ll be invited to training run by the SU where you’ll learn more about the role and be given the information, skills and tools to represent your cohort.
