FAQs

What are the Carrot Awards?

The Carrot Awards date back to 1935 and highlight any individual, student or staff, who has gone above and beyond to contribute to life at City. Whether this be in a leadership position within the SU, as a society leader or just as an individual, the Carrot Awards celebrate great contributions to life on campus. Please note you can only be shortlisted for one Carrot Award tier.

I am a committee member of a society, can I nominate my own group?

YES! If you think you’ve done amazing work this year then make sure you nominate your own group for an award.

I am a member of staff, can I nominate a student/society/club?

YES! We want to hear nominations from across the City community and that includes staff! There are also awards for staff where students can recognise staff for outstanding support and guidance throughout the academic year.

When are tickets to The Awards 2023 being released?

Tickets will be released soon. Keep an eye on City Students’ Union socials to find out more.
