And just like that, the annual SU Awards are done! This year, for the first time since 2019, City SU hosted an in-person Awards ceremony to celebrate staff, students and societies for their activity this year. To take it a step further, for the first time in many years, we hosted the ceremony in an amazing external venue, the Saddler’s Hall in St. Paul’s.

The ceremony involved a 2-course meal, speeches from members of the University’s Senior Leadership Team and Students’ Union staff members, and of course the awards ceremony! This year, we combined the previously separate Societies Awards and Academic Impact Awards (alongside the famous Carrot Awards) into one huge ceremony.

After an outstanding 579 total nominations, our selection panels had the incredibly difficult task of narrowing each category down to a shortlist of 2 societies, students or staff members. Of these 2, we then selected a winner and an honourable mention. For those that unfortunately were not able to join us, below are the final results of the 2022 SU Awards!
