Student Wellbeing Support

As a student at City, University of London, you have access to internal support services, such as:

Student Counselling, Mental Health and Accessibility Services 

Student Counselling and Mental Health Service – Our dedicated staff provide practical and emotional support to all current students who may be experiencing personal or academic difficulties, as well as those diagnosed with a mental health condition. The service is free of charge for students and always confidential. Visit the various student counselling and mental health pages, and see how the team can support you.

  • A host of resources including helpful tips and wellbeing webinars are available on Moodle for all City Students. 
  • Please click here if you have a crisis or emergency.
  • Wellbeing: Self-help resources - the Library Services and the Student Counselling and Mental Health Service have worked collaboratively to bring students and staff the following selection of self-help resources.

Togetherall - an online mental health platform that all City students can use available 24/7.

Disability Support - The Disability Support team works with students with a range of diagnosed disabilities and long-term health conditions to identify strategies and reasonable adjustments which will enhance the learning experience of students.

Dyslexia / Neurodiversity Support - The Neurodiversity Support team offers assistance to students with dyslexia and other Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs), including assessments, exam arrangements, advice on Disabled Students' Allowances (DSAs) and more.

The Chaplaincy and Faith Advisory team welcome students from all backgrounds, regardless of their beliefs.

They can offer advice, ensure you are able to practice your faith and provide a safe space to explore your own spirituality.

The Student Health Service is committed to the general well-being of students in helping you fulfil your full potential during your time at City. 

 The Student Health Service continues to operate remotely 9-5pm daily. For face to face appointments, please emai ahead of visiting.

The UoL Housing Advice Team is dedicated to supporting University of London students who experience problems in private accommodation and offers advice on a range of issues including:

contract checking, deposit disputes and repairs.

Our financial support team can help you understand everything related to student funding and finance.

They offer advice on financial issues and money management, and have some really useful resources on their web page, to help your money situation.

National Health Service (NHS) – The NHS website is a thorough online resource explaining hundreds of medical conditions. It also provides current news and advice on all things related to health and healthy living.

iCope - the Camden and Islington Psychological Therapies Service offers treatment for a range of psychological problems, including anxiety and depression.

Student Minds – Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. They empower students and members of the university community to look after their own mental health, support others and create change.

Qured – Qured is an on-demand healthcare app that provides doctors and physiotherapists straight to your door within 2 hours, 7 days a week, including prescriptions and medicine delivery.
