Animal Law Society

The Animal Law Society connects and provides opportunities to students on all courses with an interest in non-human animals and their place in the law and human society. This is a young and growing area of study which we want to make known and accessible to all.

The Society hosts guest speakers with expertise in the field of animal law, organises discussion groups to debate questions of animal law, ethics and policy, and seeks to set up and connect students with relevant volunteering or research opportunities.

Anyone with an interest in these issues is welcome to get involved and to be in touch with any questions, ideas or topics of particular appeal. As a new society we are open to all suggestions and keen to include everyone who wishes to participate!
