STUDENT COUNCIL IS BACK!
Student Council is the highest representational body of the Union. The role of Council is to set the Student Policy of the Union, hold the elected
Executive Committee to account and provide political oversight.
City students are invited to join Student Council on the 17th of November (Wednesday) at 4pm. You'll have the opportunity to meet the newly elected Student Councillors and Student Council Chair.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR FIRST STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING?
During this meeting, you'll be able to ask questions to your elected officers - from your academic experience to your student experience on campus - and see what they have been up to over the past few weeks.
DEMOCRACY REVIEW - YOUR ROLE
This year, your Students' Union is going through a democracy review.
We have analysed and reviewed all our democratic structures (Student Council, Executive Committee, Elections rules, Programme Reps, Feedback Structures) and made a few changes so it is easier to access and easier for you to make change at University.
