Film Events

The Union holds a film license which allows student groups to play films at your events. Please note that our license does not allow for you to charge door entry at your film events.

Planning on providing snacks at your film event? Unsure how to cover the costs of snacks without charging a door fee?

Option 1 - Have Separate Tickets Types 

• Ticket 1 is free and for those who don't wish to have any optional extras for the event such as catering or snacks
• Ticket 2 is a charged ticket which allows the guest to pick up some popcorn, a drink or whatever snacks you decide to have at your film event.

Option 2 - Charge for the snacks individually on the day

The important thing to remember is that entry to watch the film must be free!
